Business World (BW Skills Developers t/a Business World) is the engine room behind the strategic development of the Richmond Tourism Organisation and many other community-driven initiatives across Kwazulu-Natal. From organisational expansion for the Richmond Byrne & District Museum to supporting emerging CTOs, Business World has played a key role in enterprise development and organisational growth.

Based at Highmoor Farm in Richmond, Business World serves as both a skills hub and an enterprise incubator, offering accredited training and practical support to unlock opportunities in rural tourism, farming, and entrepreneurship.

Our core programs include; NQF Level 1 Mixed Farming Systems – a registered full qualification with AGRISETA, providing learners with essential crop and livestock skills. As well as Agroecological Farming Practices – training that blends indigenous knowledge and sustainable methods to prepare farmers for a resilient, eco-friendly future.

Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Development – mentoring and capacity-building for rural entrepreneurs to launch businesses in agritourism, green industries, and local trade. RIVERBEND COUNTRY HOME

Riverbend Country Home is a self-catering farmhouse located in the picturesque countryside of Byrne Valley; situated approximately 7 km from central Richmond in the Midlands area of KwaZulu-Natal. The house can accommodate a large family or group of 16 persons.
